About this home
With a telescope/binoculars supplied, this is a great space for daytime vistas to appreciate the superb coastal views and also is perfect for night-time stargazing.
Located right in the heart of Wells-next-the-Sea, on one of the narrow lanes that leads down to the quay this very enchanting cottage has off-street parking and its own courtyard garden, with a barbecue seating area.
Step inside and you will find a staircase on either side of the house, two sitting rooms (one that doubles as a bedroom), a shower room and two bathrooms, sumptuous bedrooms and a convivial kitchen/dining space to enjoy good conversation whilst reminiscing on the days’ events after a busy day exploring.
The master bedroom is built into the converted sail loft, which has a stunning heavily-beamed ceiling and exposed brickwork walls that gives you a true sense of the history of the house.
Now beautifully refurbished, St Michael’s Cottage offers relaxed but stylish living which now serves as a fantastic holiday home oozing with character, for families and friends alike.
Please note: St Michael’s Cottage is one of Wells’ oldest buildings and as such, there are uneven floor levels and steps both within and outside the property. The two staircases inside the property are Norfolk winder staircases which means they have narrow treads and steep inclines. In keeping with a house of this type and age.
