About this home
Characterful yet contemporary, this spacious property has a ground floor bedroom boasting amazing views straight out across the marsh to the sea and a ground floor shower room. Upstairs (the stairs are quite steep and narrow reflecting the property’s history) you’ll discover two further bedrooms; a King-size bedroom which boasts views of the sea and marsh and a bunk room (with double bed beneath and single on top) which share a beautiful bathroom with free-standing bath.
On entering the property from the rear, you will find a practical porch area for boots and coats and space for wiping down muddy paws.
From here you enter a lovely semi-vaulted kitchen/dining area with beautiful beams which is both sociable and practical with hard floors and a shaker-style kitchen, filled with everything you would need to cook whilst away on holiday and a dining table and chairs plus a bench for relaxed dining.
The cosy, warm and spacious sitting room has a gorgeous wood burning stove with plenty of comfortable seating, making it the perfect place to relax after a busy day walking or exploring. The sitting room also provides the opportunity to read or simply watch the wildlife that live on the marsh and binoculars are provided for you to make the most of this property’s spectacular location.
On warmer days enjoy pre-dinner drinks on the terrace before walking to the renowned village pub/restaurant; the Dun Cow, or shop for local produce and dine outside in the peaceful south-facing garden. Or choose to take breakfast on the front terrace overlooking the sea.
On long summer days enjoy dining outside in the peaceful south-facing garden on the large terrace, or on sunny mornings, take breakfast on the front terrace overlooking the sea.
