Turn left and you’ll be welcomed into the open-plan lounge/diner, in which dramatic wooden beams criss-cross the high, sloped ceiling.

Here you’ll find a sofa, a Smart TV and some eye-catching artwork, as well as a woodburner.

The breakfast bar-style table with stools is set against a window that looks out over the village green.

The stylish kitchen, another room with sloping ceilings, is fully equipped with everything you’ll need to cook up a storm using local delicacies found on your travels, including a compact ceramic sink and a small, retro-style fridge/freezer.
